From Muddy Boots to a Review-Ready Quote.
On One Phone.
4h → 20m
per quote
AltaPro AI built Zebra Landscaping a single app that takes a job from standing in the customer's yard to a review-ready quote — without the crew ever touching a spreadsheet.
Capture the Job Once. Let the Tool Do the Rest.
A detailed landscaping quote is genuinely hard to produce quickly and consistently — irregular areas to measure, materials to price, and a clean estimate the customer will actually approve. Done the traditional way, it's a multi-step job that can take the better part of a day.
The insight we acted on: almost everything that quote needs is already there the moment a crew member is on site with a phone. The job was to capture it once and let the tool handle the rest.
The result cuts quoting from about four hours to under twenty minutes — and lets any crew member produce an accurate, consistent quote from the field, with a person always reviewing before it reaches a customer.

One Continuous Flow, From Yard to Quote.
The old process lived in four different tools. We collapsed it into one — here's the shape of it, at a high level.
Capture the job on site
A few photos, a quick walkthrough, and a spoken note or two are enough. The tool turns what's already in front of the crew into measured, quote-ready information — no clipboard, no spreadsheet.
Measure without a tape
The crew can measure a property straight from imagery, so accurate numbers come off the site itself rather than hours of office work.
A quote, ready for the CRM
Everything rolls up into a clean, itemized, priced quote on the company's own rates — sent through as a draft for a person to review before it ever reaches a customer.
AI Does the Heavy Lifting. A Person Signs Off.
The tool takes the slow, error-prone parts off the crew's plate — but it never sends anything on its own. Every quote is reviewed by a person before it reaches a customer. Faster and more consistent, without giving up control over the numbers or the relationship.
A Tool the Crew Actually Uses.
This is a real, in-production tool — built for a non-technical crew, on a phone, in the field, and engineered for that reality. Any team member can produce an accurate, consistent quote on site from day one.
That's the difference between a slick demo and something a business runs on every day.
Architecture & The Hard Parts.
The honest engineering behind a one-tap quote — what the tool is built on, and the non-obvious problems we had to solve to make it fast, accurate, and safe in the field.
Measuring a Yard From Space
Crews measure straight off Google Maps satellite imagery. When Google removed its built-in drawing tools from the Maps API, we wrote our own click-to-draw polygon and polyline engine — with snap-to-close, draggable shapes, and per-zone areas computed from Mercator-projection math that stays correct even mid-draw, where the standard projection call returns nothing.
Photos and a Voice Note, Turned Into Numbers
A few site photos — or frames pulled from a walkthrough video — go to Claude vision, which reads back measurements, an area label, and field notes. The spoken note is transcribed by OpenAI Whisper and fed in as extra context. Everything lands as pre-filled, clearly flagged fields the crew can correct, behind per-minute, per-hour and per-day rate limits so the AI never becomes a runaway cost.
A Safe Bridge Into Jobber
A finished quote syncs into the company's Jobber account through a server-side GraphQL proxy, so the browser never touches an access token. OAuth refresh tokens are AES-256 encrypted and stored in Supabase, which means the connection survives serverless cold starts and redeploys without anyone re-authorizing it by hand.
Never Lose a Draft, On Any Phone
The whole tool is a single self-contained page a non-technical crew can open on any phone — no install. Work autosaves Google-Docs-style to the device after every change and syncs to the cloud, with graceful handling when a phone runs low on local storage, so a half-finished quote is never lost between the yard and the truck.
Every one of these runs behind a human check — the tool prepares the quote, a person reviews and sends it.
Out of respect for our client
We'll talk architecture, but the specifics stay private: how this tool prices, the rates it runs on, and how it's tuned to this business are our client's — and we keep them that way. When we build for you, your systems and your numbers get the same discretion.
