One CRM

leads, quotes, orders, installs and rentals in one place

AltaMatic is testing a CRM with an Alberta commercial food equipment dealer. It runs sales and service from the first enquiry to the paid invoice: quotes the customer accepts and signs online, orders from the online store, delivery and install scheduling, rentals, and a sync with the accounting system that checks itself daily. It is in testing now.

The story

Sales, the counter and the install crew, on one system.

An equipment dealer sells from the showroom, the counter and an online store, then delivers, installs and sometimes rents the same equipment. When each of those lives in a different tool, a quote, an order and an install date rarely agree.

This CRM keeps them together. Leads move through the dealer's own stages. A quote goes to the customer, who accepts and signs it online. Online-store orders arrive on their own, deliveries and installs go on one calendar, and install projects and rentals are tracked on the same customer record.

Each person signs in with their own login and sees what their role needs, and the owner has a dashboard of the month. Accounting stays on the dealer's existing software, synced and cross-checked every day. It is in testing now.

What we built

Six parts, one customer record.

Every enquiry, quote, order, install and rental hangs off the same customer.

01

Leads and pipeline

Enquiries move through the dealer's own stages and wording.

02

Quotes signed online

Customers accept and sign quotes from a link, with the record updated when they do.

03

Store orders

Orders from the online store arrive on the customer record automatically.

04

Delivery and install

One calendar for deliveries and installs, with install projects tracked to completion.

05

Rentals

Rented equipment is tracked on the same system as sales.

06

Accounting sync

Synced with the accounting software and cross-checked daily, so mismatches are flagged early.

Out of respect for our client

We will talk architecture, but the specifics stay private: how this system prices, the rates it runs on, and how it is tuned to this business belong to our client, and we keep them that way. When we build for you, your systems and your numbers get the same discretion.

Common questions

This Build, Answered.

What Does the CRM Do?

It runs the dealer's sales and service from the first enquiry to the paid invoice: customers, a lead pipeline, quotes the customer accepts and signs online, orders coming in from the online store, a delivery and install calendar, install projects and equipment rentals.

Does It Connect to the Accounting System?

Yes. It syncs with the dealer's accounting software and runs a daily cross-check, so a record that falls out of step is flagged rather than found at month end. Online-store orders come in automatically.

Who Uses It?

Sales, the counter, the office, installers and the owner, across two Alberta locations. Each person has their own login, and what they can see and do depends on their role. The owner has a dashboard of the month.

Where Is the Data Hosted?

In Canada. The application and the database are set up in Canadian regions for the production system.

Is It Live?

It is in testing now, before it goes live.
