Edmonton, Alberta — November 1, 2026 — Alberta moved to permanent Alberta Time this weekend, and the clocks aren't the only thing changing. AltaPro AI, the Edmonton custom software company, is now AltaMatic. The new name opens a new chapter for the company, together with the opening of its headquarters at Compass Place in Edmonton.
The name comes from the work itself. Every day, the team builds automation into the businesses it serves: the quoting, scheduling, dispatch, billing and follow-up that keep a business running. That work now spans manufacturing, construction and the trades, transportation, property management, wholesale and professional services. AltaMatic keeps the Alberta roots of the old name, and says plainly what the company does: it makes everyday work automatic.
Compass Place gives the team a permanent home base. From there, AltaMatic builds custom CRMs, operations software and AI systems for businesses across Western Canada, and comes on site for discovery and go-live wherever a business is.
What doesn't change is the team, the work and the commitments behind it. Existing projects, agreements, client portals and support continue as they are, and clients do not need to do anything. "AltaMatic" is a registered trade name of Unconventional Group Inc., the same company that carries on business as AltaPro AI. The new name will appear across the website, documents and client communications in stages, and altaproai.ca stays online throughout.
